I fished for Rainbow Bass around the many spotted islands in Southern Lake Nicaragua near the town of San Carlos . I fished for Large Tarpon and Snook in the Nicaraguan portion of Rio San Juan.

The Rio San Juan runs from Lake Nicaragua starting at the town of San Carlos, Nicaragua and flows to the Caribbean Sea. It starts as a Nicaraguan river then becomes the boarder between Nicaragua and Costa Rica.
