Kodiak 2002- Alaska

This fun fishing group included Mark Anselmo, Carl Potter and I are from Houston, George Large and Bruce Raatz from Minnesota and Chuck Barr from Colorado. We fished Kodiak, Aug 2-11. Three of our fishing days were offshore and the rest were fly fishing the local rivers. We stayed in a comfortable 3 bedroom Bed and Breakfast called "A Captains Quarters". It was the entire downstairs of a large house that overlooked a beautiful tranquil bay. The extra long day light gave us plenty of time to fish and get home before dark to BBQ fish for dinner. We fished offshore with Capt. Michael Ensley of Happy Hooker Charters in his new catamaran "Reel Fun". Yes, it was Reel Fun. We yielded a total of 1,005 lbs of vacuumed packed filets of Halibut, Ling Cod, Rock Bass and King, Silver, Red and Pink Salmon.
